Is the project that Vida Nueva has taken on to continue growing and reaching more people with the gospel.
It involves the purchasing of additional property and the establishing of a new Campus to expand the Kingdom of God and transform lives.
A message from our pastors
What is the opportunity?
families to reach
that live in the vicinity of Campus Cuscatlán
What is the Vision?
people to reach by 2026
with the Gospel of Christ
How much do we hope to grow?
people are our target
in attendance, have two Sunday services, one Saturday service, one Friday night service, Paradigm, and Youth Meetings
We invite you to follow our progress:
This first historic service had 198 adults and 40 children in attendance. A live link was established with Campus Miralvalle so as to share the transmission. The word of God was opened to the first page of the Book of Acts, and as always, we had a time of questions and answers. What book of the Bible would be more significant to study on Friday nights than the narrative history describing the formation of the early church and the spreading of the gospel? One of Jesus first lessons is to impress upon us the importance of His Spirit and how He will empower His disciples to be witnesses to the ends of this earth. May the Lord use Campus Cuscatlán to equip His disciples to reach souls to the ends of this earth!
We are at about 50% in the construction of the common area we are calling our Cafeteria. This is an area we are using for Fellowship before and after every church service Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It will also be open for discipleship, weekday meetings, and a great space for our Paradigm ministry for our 25-40 year olds.
• Delicious roasted Chickens were sold at the Miralvalle Campus. Everyone in the Miralvalle Campus participated!
• 140 Delicious chicken soup meals were prepared and sold. Everything was prepared in our newly renovated and 50% roofed Cafeteria area in Campus Cuscatlán.
October 1 is Children's Day in El Salvador. We celebrated it on Saturday October 5 and Sunday October 6 at Campus Cuscatlán. Our Children's Ministry department did a wonderful job! 209 children participated. The theme was "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
This roof will not only cover a very important area of our church facility, but will also provide a great place to do ministry during the week. Paradigm and Small groups will be able to use this area as well as provide a space for Fellowship time on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before and after church services.
Many members of the Apopa Campus donated resellable items. The ladies of the church organized the garage sale and carried it out. All the proceeds went towards the purchase of Campus Cuscatlán.
It is beginning to look so much nicer inside our sanctuary.
This past Sunday marked a historic moment as Campus Cuscatlán witnessed its first baptisms. Ten people followed the Lord in Believer's Baptism, symbolizing their spiritual identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It was an incredible experience filled with joy and celebration.
Right where the school's swimming pool was located, we have compacted the ground, then cement plates were made to cover the area.
Witness the incredible transformation of our sanctuary floor! Once uneven and rough, it's now a smooth, level surface, perfect for hosting gatherings and events. This past week's renovation has made a significant improvement in the space.
The newly installed roof is now complete. It is a special white roofing material that is painted with a special black paint designed for soundproofing and heat repelling, a new technology for El Salvador. The materials, imported from China, replace the previous temporary roofing. Over half of the sanctuary has already been covered with this innovative roofing material.
This special, custom, made to measure roof was shipped to us from China. It is composed of 3 layers to help insulate the inside of the sanctuary from the sun, heat, and loud rain we typically get. Installation will begin any day!
The Sanctuary of Campus Cuscatlán is officially open! Campus Hotel and Campus Hacienda are officially fused, and the congregation of Campus Cuscatlán is born, about 1,000 members.
The expansion of the sanctuary roof goes on right above the weight bearing beams.
As soon as the crane could get on to the property, 5 giant beams were installed. These will bear the weight of the Phase 1 roof of the sanctuary.
It was necessary to create an access so the crane which would hoist the beams could be brought on to the property. Dry dirt had to be brought in to replace all the mud that had been created from the rain.
Ten of the Twelve columns that will bear the weight of the final roof of the Phase 1 sanctuary were installed!
The first chairs have arrived! The more comfortable the chairs are, the easier it will be for more people to want to connect with God and the Bible, so we have made an investment to be able to have at least the part of the chairs we need for the temporary sanctuary.
It's incredible, we already have a temporary sanctuary! The temporary sanctuary can accommodate just over 200 people. This day we already had 2 services, we still don't have chairs, but we are praying that soon we can have at least some of the chairs we need.
We have a place to start meeting! Thank God we have temporary roofs and walls to start gathering every Sunday. A group of VidaNueva members were cleaning the bathrooms, sweeping the hallways, and preparing the necessary spaces for the first service in the temporary sanctuary.
The VidaNueva Staff went to pray for the Campus Cuscatlán project and to thank God for the start of laying the roof of the temporary sanctuary.
Children's Ministries need adequate spaces to accommodate all the children we minister to each week. In this challenge, we cleaned the floors and painted the walls of the Children's Ministries classrooms.
Painting a place like Campus Cuscatlán takes a lot of effort and energy. A group of VidaNueva volunteers dedicated their entire Saturday morning to cleaning and painting a section of the perimeter wall.
Parking is essential for the development of the Cuscatlán Campus project, in mid-March the creation of the first parking area began.
A group of 90 volunteers from Vida Nueva were in charge of removing the debris during the demolition process.
The heavy machinery was brought in to adapt the property to Campus Cuscatlan’s needs.
A group of 75 volunteers from Vida Nueva came together at the Campus Cuscatlan property to clean up the installations and remove rubble.
Disassembling and removing the roof first is key to carrying out a safe and systematic demolition of the property.
Members of Vida Nueva came to see the property that we prayed would become Campus Cuscatlan.
